Rayne's Recovery, Inc
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
~ Margret Mead ~
Raynes Recovery, Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating the struggles of addiction, exploitation, and systemic poverty. Utilizing empathy and proven harm-reduction tactics, we provide essential advocacy and recovery assistance to help individuals maintain safety and find strength. Our work focuses on fostering resilience and dignity for every person without prejudice.
Our Story: Harm Reduction
Rayne's Recovery has been created from lived experience, compassion, and the belief that every life has value. After witnessing the devastating impact of addiction, overdose, and the barriers many people face when seeking help, we knew our community deserved something different. We envisioned a place where people would be met with understanding instead of judgment and where hope would always remain within reach.
Building Hope, One Life at a Time
At Raynes Recovery Inc our mission is to reduce the risks of overdose, improve public health, and lessen the harms associated with substance use, sex trafficking, poverty, and other stigmatized circumstances through evidence-based harm reduction, prevention education, recovery support, and community outreach. By partnering with EMS, first responders, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we strengthen local overdose prevention and response, expand access to life-saving resources, educate communities using evidence-based strategies, and create pathways to health, dignity, and hope.
The vision in mind
Creating a future where understanding replaces stigma and every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, hope, and support.
Our Approach
Recovery doesn't always start inside of a treatment center. More often, it starts on a sidewalk, in a parking lot, incarcerated, in a church, or anywhere someone is simply trying to survive.
That's where we show up.
We meet people where they are—not where others think they should be. We build trust one conversation at a time, offering harm reduction, compassion, and life-saving resources without judgment or conditions.
Because you can't recover if you're dead.
Sometimes, surviving today is the first step toward recovery tomorrow.
Why is Harm Reduction Important?
Harm reduction is important because it helps keep people safe and healthy while reducing the risk of overdose, disease, and other preventable harms. It provides practical tools, education, and support to people who may not be ready for treatment or recovery yet.
By meeting people where they are and treating them with respect, harm reduction can build trust, save lives, and connect individuals with healthcare, recovery services, and other resources when they are ready.
